This hotel suits me perfectly, providing everything I need like excellent wi-fi, cozy bar/lounge, and helpful free shuttle service. I remember how the staff assisted me with taxi recommendations on my first stay. I highly recommend it and can't wait to come back for Christmas!

Breakfast offerings include a solid spread, and the fondue dinner stands out as a delicious option without breaking the bank.

Access involves a steep uphill walk from the train station, which may not be ideal for everyone—though you get used to it quickly. Some amenities like conditioner, coffee-making facilities, and adequate towels were lacking. The bathroom lighting could be improved for better visibility, and the absence of air conditioning might make warmer nights uncomfortable, especially for first-floor rooms.

what a lovely stay at alpenrose wengen! the staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. the shuttle service to and from the train station saved us a lot of hassle with our bags. the cozy bar area is beautifully remodeled, and our small double room had stunning views. dinner was a steal at CHF 19, great food and value!
